Then came the trials. Signing up for free trials of a few top contenders gave me a hands-on feel for the software. Some were clunky and frustrating, while others felt intuitive and powerful. It was like test-driving different sports cars – you gotta feel the engine purr!
Budget is always a factor. Some flashy platforms boasted amazing features, but with a price tag that could topple a skyscraper. Luckily, there are great options at every price point. I even discovered some hidden gems with free plans that pack a punch for smaller businesses.
The final test? Integration. My marketing world revolves around my CRM. If the lead gen software doesn’t seamlessly connect and transfer data, it’s a dealbreaker.
